  2003 Update

2003 has been slow, but steady.

Landed a lead in an Austin independent called "The Attendant" with Ernesto Manzano. We shot, yes, the whole film in a men's bathroom. Other than that, the crew was really fantastic. I was treated royally. You would have thought I was Robert DeNiro or something.

Shot an independent down in Houston called "Public Domain". Interesting plot...shot also in Galveston. Small crew but they worked together like a hand in a glove. Look foward to seeing the final product.

Did the Spy Kids III thing again as Steve Buscemi's stand-in.

Participated in the Dallas Video Festival's 24 Hour Video Race. I actually had my own team (Alex Adkins, Victor San Martin and Davette Shands) and it was the first time I produced something. We didn't win but I really enjoyed the process and I was very happy with the outcome. It's called "Model Shoot", about two guys hanging around a lake who are smart enough to take advantage of an opportunity to have some real fun!

Played JFK in "Days that Shook the World". No dialogue but it was one of the most surreal and enjoyable shoots I had done in awhile. The first day I rode around in the back of a 63 Lincoln Convertible with the charming Laura Yonker (who played Jackie) and sweated in 90+ heat in downtown Dealy Plaza. But we didn't let that stop us from having fun. It was a strange feeling driving by waving and reinacting such an historic event. Lots of tourists took pictures of us. Not something done everyday for sure. The next day I was on the operating table with brains, blood and bullet holes all over me (quite a sight - I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures on this one). The cast was an exceptional group of fellow actors and the crew (David Bartlett, Stephen Bennett) with local production crew Laura Neitzel and others were great!

Played Agent Wesson in a spoof of the Matrix called "A.I". The director, Tony Quinn, was easy to work with and it was fun to work again with fellow actor/friend Damon Decker. Lots of punches and running and turning normal people into agents...can't wait to see it when it's done.

Played a drunk who hits a little girl with my car (I'm sooooo bad) in "A Message from Tara". Did some voice over for the project also.

Played Ann Monroe's husband in "Innocent Obsessions", with Jon Thomas and Shannon Oliver.

"Friends and Neighbors" was shot down in Waco. I play Will, the star's best friend who balances his friend's philosophical passion.

Played a juror in "A Killer Within".

Had a starring role in "Death in Del Rio". It was an emotionally challenging role. The director is submitting it for Project Greenlight.

Well, This year wasn't as good as 2002 but I kept semi-busy...just didn't have as many juicy roles. I did have to turn down some projects because of scheduling conflicts and I haven't devoted enough time to getting work. I'll get back on track for 2004 though.....
