  2002 Update

Since the beginning of the year (2002), I have been busy.

I was Steve Buscemi's stand-in for Spy Kids II - he's a cool guy - had lunch with him and of course, had a chance to watch him work. It was quite an experience. The crew was great to work with.

We wrapped "Still" in February and it should be done sometime in May. I played the lead with the lovely Alaina Kalanj. See this site for more details - http://www.road-dog-productions.com/

I landed a lead in a film called "Le Chef du Jour" - I played Poe, an intellectual and slightly arrogant chef - very challenging role -the guy just doesn't talk like normal people.

Landed a lead in an independent film called "The Husband and His Play". A very interesting and technically sophisticated script with Robin Stevens as my leading lady, Eric Bunn and August Frizzell. It will be showing at the North Lake College Film Festival on May 4th - 11-6pm.

Worked on a 3D animation project with John Carstarphen called "Polygrinder". He used my voice and body movements and they will be used to create fictional, 3D characters. Worked with Elizabeth G. de Moraes and H. Cheradon Bedford. Should be out early Fall 2002.

Landed a lead in a film called "Maybe Tomarrow" I play Alex Richards, a teacher bent on committing suicide since he lost his family in a car crash a year ago. The crew was a lot of fun. Should be some nice scenes for my reel.

Played an "alien rapist" in the independent film film "Parabola", yes I said alien rapist. Karlyn Herlitz was my victim. She was great and it was a fun shoot.

Played "Brad" in "Strange Applications" - a comedy - I played the lead's co-worker in a company that designs urinal cakes (oh yeah!).

Landed a lead in "Guardian Angel" - I play John, a spouse abuser - quite a stretch for me but I'm up for the challenge. We shoot in August. Supposed to be shown on PBS.

Played a producer in "Poor Player", directed by Felipe Linz. My line, "Charles, there's someone I want to you to meet...."

Played myself in "Finding Tina" for the Dallas Video Festival's 24 Hour Video Race.

Played Jack Manning in Artistic Vision's 48 Hour Film entry in Austin - A film noir - Jack's girl friday has a secret.....
